Story

This song is entirely a one-sided telephone conversation, and the words are being spoken by the person on the other end of the line. I am listening. I am shocked by what I am hearing. The words in the chorus were truly spoken to me, the last thing I heard from someone I thought I had a connection with.... "you'll never get anyone better than me"

Ha. I did.

Story

This is not a love song. This is not a song about having a crush on someone. This is a song about being used by someone you thought was a friend. I have to clarify this because the person I wrote this song about thinks I had a 'thing' for him. Our friendship was solely based on what he could use me for, and when there was no gain to be had, I was tossed aside. Good thing too... you live, you learn, you find out who your true friends are.
